Dr. Rex A. Yannis presents his expertise in facial and ophthalmic plastic surgery with more than 20 years of cosmetic surgery experience. He currently practices cosmetic surgery in both Arroyo Grande, California. as well as Newport Beach California.

Dr Yannis received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, followed by a completion of an internship in internal medicine at the Medical College of Georgia.

Dr. Yannis then continued on to complete dual fellowship training which includes a completion of three years training of eye surgery, became “Board Certified” then completed a second fellowship with advanced training in oculofacial and reconstructive surgery from the University of Texas, Houston.

Dr. Yannis is a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery as well as the “Highly Acclaimed” American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPERS). For over ten years Dr. Yannis served as Associate Clinical Professor, teaching oculoplastic and facial reconstructive surgery at the University California, Irvine, while in private practice in Orange County, California.

Dr. Yannis specializes, and is highly skilled in cosmetic facial, and eye lid surgery., as well as skin rejuvenation of the face, neck, chest, arms and hands. In addition he offers superior skill in body contouring, using the latest advances in LASER assisted lipo-sculpture also known as LASER lipolosis. Dr. Yannis also incorperates, non surgical body contouring using Lipodissolve, (injection lipolysis) in conjunction with MedSculpt ™ cellulite treatment. Dr. Yannis has extensive experience with LASER and Broad Band Light technology, dermal fillers such as fat transfers, Juvederm™, Radiesse TM and Botox TM.
